DJ The Money Coach is a serial entrepreneur from the city of Chicago. He’s a finance expert who specializes in startups and private investing. He’s addressed the diverse needs of small, mid-size, and large organizations related to Corporate Finance, Financial education, and Financial Wellness of its employees. He’s taught over 1000 educational workshops to governments, Fortune 1000 companies, churches, non-profits and professionals nationwide. To date he’s sat down with over 25,000 professionals and business owners to coach them through establishing, securing, and growing their wealth.

His journey has been anything but linear. He began as a sales professional turned financial manager in the auto industry. Fast forward to 2024, he’s a real estate developer, building entire communities and ecosystems in the Exotic Island of Zanzibar. Along the way, he’s accomplished some major feats.

In 1997 as a Sales Executive he led the $10M sale of Sysdraw software to Visio, which was later acquired by Microsoft and exists today as Microsoft Visio. Immediately after, he built a professional cleaning company, White Glove Immaculate Services, which serviced residential and commercial clients. He generated over $1M in revenues and advised JAN-PRO, the largest commercial cleaning company in the world on business development in the Midwestern region.

By 2003, he officially departed Corporate America and replaced his Executive status with his Financial Service practice where he began servicing professionals and business owners at the highest level. This led him to engineering the 3-Steps-2-Success Business, Real Estate and Tax Leveraging course and conference that built a massive real estate portfolio in the Chicago, Detroit, St Louis, Memphis, and Houston Metro areas of over 250 properties, with a value of over $25M.

In 2009, for his next feat, he launched EZPAY24, where he created, built, and sold a first-of-its-kind bill-pay technology. He executed sales contracts with H-E-B, the largest private grocer in the world, and Love’s Truck Care, the largest trucking depot in the US worth over $12M.

Progressing to 2020, DJ built the DJ The Money Coach online expansion of his financial practice in April 2020 with a $12,000 investment and grew it into a $1.2M/yr business in 2 yrs. He went from $10K/mo. in Sep 2020 to $27K/mo. by Aug 2021, $100K/mo. by Dec 2021 and $120K/mo. by April 2022! This expansion led to the First and only of its kind, Small Business Services partnership with Chase Bank through their Advancing Black Pathways Initiative in 2022, which trained 358 professionals through the DJTMC Family Finance Curriculum which generated $42M in assets under management for Chase Bank.

The public reach that the DJ The Money Coach online business produced, allowed DJ in 2022 to raise over $3M to invest into Real Estate and Business Development in Zanzibar, TZ. A new worldwide tourist destination post-pandemic. As of 2024, DJ has built a $25M luxury residential resort, a $2.5M private luxury home development, and a $20M set of ancillary services companies. He’s building an entire city and all of the related businesses in Zanzibar!
